Travis Wright

Travis is from Morganville, a small farming community in north central Kansas. As a teenager Travis suffered a sports related injury that sparked his interest in medicine. He received undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from Bethany College in 2002. Travis later received his master’s degree in Physician Assistant from Wichita State University in 2008. After graduation Travis spent about two years working in family medicine in north central Kansas. Travis then moved to Wichita, Kansas and spent the next five and half years working in cardiology. Along with his wife Jerilyn, Travis is excited to have moved to the Kearney area to join Dr. DeBlis at the New West Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery. Travis is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant, and has been a member of the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistant. In his spare time, Travis enjoys spending time with his family, photography, golfing and watching movies. He looks forward to serving the south central Nebraska community.
